A travel writer for three decades, Sandy MacDonald – based in New York City and Nantucket — has contributed to many national magazines, including Ski (details on website, www.sandymacdonald.com). She has provided original text and updates for many guidebook series (Access, Fodor’s, Frommer’s, Insight); her own guidebook, Quick Escapes Boston was published by Globe-Pequot. She is also a theatre critic and translator (French, Spanish, Italian).
