Richard Kahn was the former Editor-in-chief of Travel Agent Magazine for 16 years. Before that he was an editor with Aviation Week & Space Technology for 5 years. Over the years he wrote special sections for The New York Times, USA Today, New Jersey Star Ledger, U.S. News & World Report and other publications. He hosted a Travel Talk radio show in New York for several years. He also headed up Kahn Travel Communications, a publishing and public relations company specializing in the travel and hospitality industry. He has received Lifetime Achievement Awards from HSMAI, CHTA and CTO. He retired in 2019 and published a travel memoir in 2021 titled “It’s About Time & Travel.” He is working on a second book focused on the travel industry.
