About / Bio
After 20 years on staff at Fodor’s Travel as an editor and editorial director, Linda is a freelance travel writer and editor for outlets from Fodor’s, Lonely Planet, Frommer’s, and Moon Travel to the websites Fathom (where she is a contributing editor), Side of Culture, and the National Education Association Travel Newsletter. Her editorial interests are wide-ranging, from famous destinations to those still under the radar for American travelers. She loves writing about experiencing local culture of all kinds, whether this involves art, architecture and design (including hotels), history and museums, food and wine, or performing arts. Discovering places through the outdoors, whether by hiking, biking, or kayaking, is an interest as well.
