Midway through Expo Milano 2015, the USA Pavilion, which opened in May, had welcomed 2 million visitors, making it one of the most popular destinations at the first world’s fair of food.
“We expected 2 to 3 million visitors,” says pavilion president Dorothy Cann Hamilton. “But now it looks like it will be 3 to 4 million. Overall the food-themed world’s fair has received over 8 million visitors and expects 20 million by the fair’s end on October 31.
